Meet the ducks
We have 6 ducks at Up The Hills And Far Away: Mummy Duck (Laura) and her 5 ducklings. Each duck has a prefered style of traveling, which will be helpful to decide which trip is for you. Each guide will be written by a separate duck to help you know what style of travel it will follow. Of course you can choose any style you want, travel style is fluid and you do not have to stay with a single one. You can also adapt these guides to a style that matches your preferences better. So let’s get quacking and meet the ducks!
Laura is the owner of the website. She is the one writing articles and looking for new ideas! If you have any questions, she will be the one answering!
Heather is quite shy and sensitive to noises. She likes a calm pace and needs to plan everything ahead. She likes routine and structure.
Albert likes a quiet pace with a relaxed atmosphere. He needs time to adapt before going out to discover new things.
June likes discovering and moving but needs structure. She is open to trying new things as long as everything is planned!
Barnaby likes moving and discovering. He can keep a fast pace but will still need calmer moments to avoid being overwhelmed.
Lily never stays still! She needs to discover and move all the time. The faster and the more activities, the better!
